Tuesday 10th June Enhanced Induction for our SEND student

Students and parents will be contacted as invite only for this event.

Thursday 26TH JUNE: Enhanced Induction Invite only (morning only)

This event is aimed at those children who might feel especially anxious about the transition process. Names will be identified in consultation with Year 6 teachers and SENCOs and confirmed closer to the date.

WEDNESDAY, 2nd JULY OR THURSDAY, 3rd JULY: INDUCTION DAYS FOR STUDENT

Students will be given the opportunity to look around the school, meet fellow pupils and members of staff, as well as sampling some lessons. We hope that this will give the children a useful introduction to life at Redhill, ease any worries they might have and enable them to settle down very quickly in September.

Parents and Carers will receive and email/letter confirming which Induction day your child will need to attend. They will only attend for 1 day, not both.

Redhill Ready Day Tuesday 22nd July 10am-2pm 2025

Students will be invited to attend Redhill during the first week of the Summer holiday. Places are limited!

Exciting Times

Life at Redhill School is packed full of exciting opportunities. We can’t wait for you to arrive and make the most of these. We love to watch our Year 7s try new things and discover new passion

Questions.. questions..

You probably have lots of questions. You will have plenty of opportunities to find out everything you want to know at your Induction Day but, for now, we have pulled together answers to some of the most popular queries that we get asked by our new Year 7s:

Will I be in a form with people from my primary school?

Maybe! Maybe not! Don’t worry about sticking with people you already know, you will have time to see them at break. This is your chance to make new friends!

What happens in the first week?

You will be introduced to your timetable and meet some of your new teachers! You will have fun meeting new people and making some new friends.

What happens if I get lost or need someone to talk to?

Don’t worry about that, all the teachers here are really nice and will point you in the right direction. There will also be some older students helping you find your way. You can also go to the pastoral house if you are worried about anything and Ms Gonderton will help you!

Will I like the food?

Yes! It’s nice and there’s lots of choice

What time does school finish?

School finished at 3:10pm.

How do I sign up for all the clubs and activities?

Let your teachers know you want to attend and get your parents to sign you up on Edulink!
